Post New addition
We brought this little bugger home on Saturday (no not the child, we've been stuck with her for some time now). We sold her quad a few weeks ago super quick and had to wait a bit to find a little CRF for her. She knew a bike was in the works but we surprised her by going to the shop on our way to her soccer game on Saturday. She spent a good amount of time on it yesterday. She ate it once in the driveway on the first day and once in some mud yesterday but she's doing great. It's sometimes scary how quick she picks up new things. It's going to be interesting...

CRF110. I considered the 125 just to last her longer but I'm extremely happy I went with the 110. We didn't go shopping to try them on for size so I took a guess since I had to get one brought in. No one nearby had a 110 in stock. This fits her with room to grow. Also the auto clutch was a smart move for now too. It's plenty fast. Fourth gear with my fat ass onboard it still goes pretty good.

Came across a couple videos of kids racing dirtbikes with motard tires on go cart tracks. I promised the little one if her race goes well I'll get her a spare set of wheels and some pirelli scooter tires so she can go out at lunch break/parade lap on NYST. Also Brett baker was telling me about the minigp racing at the go cart track inside lightning, and how they hold classes and drills for the kids.

Yep. I dug the old XR out and rode around with her. Riding the Ruckus was getting old.

Out of curiosity: how tall = good fit for a 110?

Let me measure the kid when I get home today. I'm not sure how tall she is now.

She's about 4'5" with a 25" inseam. She's on the balls of her feet when sitting on the bike.

Thanks. I ask because my 6 yr old is growing like a weed and is 4'-2" already. She's starting to look a little big on the 50. Once her skills catch up to her size, she might need something bigger.

Good thing that doesn't apply to me, or I wouldn't be ready for a Ninja 300!

Is that why Matt is so good? A good skills to size ratio?
