Post CRF50 with lots of mods.. SOLD
Looks like Summit Point Main isn't going to allow any pit bikes next year, and since half the races are there, I guess I'll be looking for a scooter / Ruckus.

Kamikaze 88cc engine, no smoke, plenty of power, runs great.
SANO inverted forks with oversized axle
aftermarket rear shock
longer swingarm
quick-turn throttle
disc brakes F&R (rear converted from a foot pedal to bar lever)
taller seat & bar risers - adults can ride this.
Full exhaust
carb cleaned, no leaks, only run on ethanol-free gas
spare brake pads

You can't help but giggle like a damn schoolgirl when you ride this thing. It wheelies going into 2nd gear!

The bad?
no kickstand
rear tire is worn. (no cords showing, but the tread is gone. tires are cheep!)
front tire leaks down over a few days. I just fill it to 35 before a weekend and it's fine.
The red powdercoating on the front end has faded to a pink-ish hue. Be a man, ride pink.

$600.

I'll take it, but ethanol fuel?.. Aside from all of our complaints, is there something to know, or is that just seller bragging rights? Ethanol free fuel is hard for me to source.

It gets the same VP gas that the R6 does. In addition to smelling good, I figure the few octane points can't hurt, and the lack of ethanol means the carb isn't full of junk. :)

I think if you just run the carb bowl dry between runs it should be OK, but who knows. Mostly just me bragging.

You have got to bring that to NJMP next week if for no other reason than to run back and forth to the shower. You are camping, correct?
A trip around the track to T10 could be a hoot, too, right?

BTW, I'm camping. Bring DVDs. The truck is also a mini-movie theatre. I'm bringin' Boondock Saints and Pulp Fiction...more for background ambience whilst pounding out beverages. :D
(My Faster videos are misplaced).

I am camping, correct, and you're absolutely right... I have to have SOMETHING to ride. Pedal bikes are for the birds..

Gone, Gonzo, sold...

Hope Kat has fun on it! (If you're going to ride around the yard, ya *might* want to put some knobbies on it. Ask Johnny how many times he went splat riding on those Dunlop TT tires in the grass!

I thought of that, but part of me wants her to slide around to develop a feel for it. We'll see how she does. Thanks again for the deal.

But OTOH, do you want her learning that everytime she leans, she falls? :P That was my thinking..
