Mr. Mentch and I are likely to be called out for a mission...a mission to shoot that squirrel in the eye up yonder at a thousand yards.

What a great name for a firearm! Mr. Mini-Barrett, I dub thee Jealousy. :D

The truth is, any decent rifle can be a distance shooter...just gotta be able to see the target, accurately.
Of course, there's that whole technique thing to consider...
Practice, practice, practice...but not the bad habits. Just like riding. ;)

Cool. I'm getting the Atlas PSR too and their accu-shot mono.

That's it, I think...accu-shot.

With the amount of money you're throwing at legs, I wonder why you're looking at old school scope mounts.

Why not Spuhr you ask? Probably because I don't know much about them ;) I do want a one piece mount. I need one with 0 MOA built in because my receiver has 20 MOA already built in. I see they make probably exactly what I'm looking for but for now I'm going with the Mark 2 IMS Leupold mount mostly because I already ordered it. That's an easy upgrade if I find need to later and an easy sell if I want to unload the Mark 2. I found them for sale at a great price.
