I'm planning on a quick run on rt 125 Sunday morning probably be in Shamokin between 8:00 and 9:00. I'll see what the temp looks like it will be a decide better tomorrow. Just a quick run to Ravine and back for me because I have family home for a few days I'll want to get home early. Who's going to be around?

Darn it. The season is upon us and my bike's on stands, the cat needs shot twice a day, and there's prolly gravel everywhere after this Winter.
Check it out, Mentch. Make sure it's safe for the rest of us.

Fred when YOU say "shot twice a day" that just doesn't sound quite right. You have the capacity to shoot just about anything once and that's it.

I'll be the KR.com factory test rider and report back.

When you say quick run, I can put my forks on but I can't leave 'til 0900-ish.
Cat just became diabetic and I have to give him shots 2x day. Currently trying to rotate his schedule from 1000 and 2200 shots to 0800 and 2000. I can be at 0830 shots Sunday morning but will still have to get geared up to get out the door...0930 earliest at Sheetz.

We need a couple quick, short routes somewhere closer...I have some ideas. Nothin' special but it does offer scenery, trickery and proximity. 44 N from Buckhorn to Jerseytown, back on 642, Frosty Valley. That's my nearest route worth riding. There are some southern possibilites from Mainville/Catawissa and Riverside but I haven't pieced anything together. Surely you now something?
Nothing will compare to 125s best but, elsewhere, there are still some nice turns with elevation.

What's the weather Sunday?

44 N is a nice little run. We should ride that soon. Mile Hill Road out near me is in real nice condition again. I used to run that to Sunbury and back Mile Post, or the other way, but Mile Post is shit-ty right now. I heard rumors they're repaving it this year.

They're calling for high 60's and sunny :apex:

That's half of one of the reasons I want to go out. I had T-man do my CBR. The shock was recalled by Ohlins...T-man's busy at COTA...won't see my shock again for a bit. The forks are on, or can be. They're layin' on the living room floor.
I tell ya. You just want to go for a short ride, the season is upon us... You get your stuff upgraded, ooh and aah over it waiting to install it, a couple days go by and BAM, recall. At least I didn't have to uninstall it. I woulda been riding by now.

I've been on the Miles but not on bike. I'd love someone to show me the bike line.

How about, Jarrod, you ride to my place 54 to 487. We head up 44, down 642, cross the river, hit the Miles, you peel off for home and I finish the route the way you started it?
Not counting the stop at your place, it's a 65 mile loop, about 1hr45 ride(GoogleMaps). You being only 25-ish minutes from me, it's nearly an hour ride time together in less than two hours.
If you got to my place at 0900, you'd still have to wait a bit for me. If we're out of there by 0930, you're home by 1100-ish? How's that sound? What's your end time for a ride?

I got dibs on naming this one.

Crap. Forks are in but the bike is in more of a track state than I remembered...no lights, etc. This might take all night, making me useless for riding. You have to understand the nature of my current garage organizational presentation.
There is none.
Stay posted before you head out. At the least, I could head in the opposite direction.

I wont be able to make it tomorrow I have a hockey game, I did a run today up and back and both switch back turns are covered in gravel from 20 feet before, to 20 feet after but other than that its clean even the the quick left back to right where the driveway is is clean.

Ok. I'll check in later or in the am. I'll be out of the garage at 8:30 regardless.

I'm out. I can't be bothered to find all the street stuff right now. I'm a mess.
At least the bike isn't on stands anymore.

Gotta find something else to do Sunday.

Dirt riding?
Peter?!?
Range time?

Ok then :loser: :poke: I guess I'm heading south to 125 after all. I'll show you around Mile Hill Road another day 8-) then you can also name the loop you've created.

I'll see you somewhere Hammer.

Nice little ride today. Just being out on a bike anywhere would have felt good I suppose. Not too many people out this morning though. 125 is VERY dirty in the two switchbacks (Mcneil's corners) on the north side of the Gowen City Mt. Way dirtier than normal and more distance than usual. I was being careful and had her side ways twice going uphill.
