It was our first time on the road and it was perfect, 45 miles of nothing but back two lanes roads in perfect condition beside about a 1/2 mile stretch of the backside of one mountain other than that it was cherry. Gopro was acting up so we only stopped once to take some pics. My buddy Ryan and I really need to get out to a track day this year.

Is that the exact route you ran? If so and you ever plan on running it again I know some decent roads to get you from Shamokin to the Sunbury area. Much better roads than rt.61. Let me know and I'll either tell you about them or better yet lead you there.

yea that was exact route, 235 was kind of an after thought so I didnt have to much time to study the map for a better way. Even in the short time we were in traffic some lady was raging out on us for riding motorcycles and a trucks almost caused a major accident by not looking before changing lanes. We try to stay out of sight and ride no highway or roads with traffic lights.

If you have a better way down there I am all ears after that madness.

In addition to track days, consider a dirtbike... I'm certainly not a pro, never raced or anything, but trail riding and hill climbs will do wonders for your skills.
