Thanks to John I Picked up the suspension last night, got everything installed and new steering head bearing bearings installed. Still need to put the front end up in the air and check the free play in the bearings.

Had to take my dog into surgery today so topping off with coolant and gas and firing it up will have to wait for the weekend.

Finally home for a few days, hope to get the new chain and sprockets from Justin and the ECU back from tune this week before I have to take off the Fort Wane for another week.

Today I plan to go through and tighten all the bolts and double check the torque of everything.

I need to set up my rear sets once the bike is on the ground.

Im hoping we get a warm weekend so I an spray some bed liner on the trailer since the painter has backed out on me.

Got the cooling system sorted and checked for leaks, just waiting on the chain and sprockets to come in and the bike will be ready to roll.

Any tips on mounting the remote reservoir for the rear shock?

Im really hoping to make it out to NJMP on the 17th.

The hose clamp around the subframe is what I've always seen for those who have a remote res. I'd have to look closer at my bike to see what the mount would be.

Hope ya make the 17th too!

There should be a mounting bracket that cam with the shock. It mounts to the subframe at the main frame connection. If you don't have it I have one that I could bring to Jerzy. There should also be two rubber spacers that go between the reservoir and the bracket. Those I don't have.

for the rearsets - sit on the seat, grip the curve in the tank with your knees.. adjust so you don't have to flex your foot. Another method is to sit on the seat, grip the tank with your knees, then sit up straight without moving your butt. Lift yourself off the seat. If you fall forward, they're too far back, and vice-versa.

NYST weekend 9/30-10/1

Drove through the rain Friday night to arrive late and we ended up having to get get the gate open to set up camp only to wake up to 32 degrees and raining most of the day so Saturday was a bust.

Sunday after the morning fog was gone it was go time, after making some changes to BP and getting over the fear of the throttle sticking again it was productive day comparing overlays of Gopro video from last year I was able to make a 10 second improvement and 2 to 3 seconds from the first run of the day to the last.

I was finally able to get over the fear of not stopping after coming up to a high speed corner after my crash in NJ last year.

Headed to NC bike this coming weekend.
