Its going to be a toy hauler, seats need to be removed and then a layout planned out. My buddy Ryan and I will be using this for a track day camper/ toy hauler.

5sp big block 366 so its not going anywhere fast but no need to set anything up anymore. I really want to add a bunch of curb side tool boxes.

Bus ended up being a giant pain in the ass, the gas motor needed the carb rebuilt and a bunch of exhaust work.

We both said fuck it and I bought a new daily/ tow rig and going to look at a 7x16 enclosed this weekend

Balck Bear tune will be getting installing this weekend once I have driven all week logging some data. They needed at least 3 WOT pulls, so they can pick the 15 to choose from that I did.

Also why do trailer places have banker hours? By the time I left my hour to get the closest one an hour away they closed at 10am.

Well decided on a trailer last weekend and pulled it home. 7x16 with extra 8 inches of height.

You'll hate the extra height when towing, and love it every other minute. :)

Any recommended air conditioning solutions for the trailer?

An RV unit. Everything else wastes precious floor space, and unless you over-engineer the vent solution, consistently pull warm air in, making it less efficient.

I looked at a few slim ac units this weekend people had at NC bike, I roughed it in a tent and fan for now. But on a good note I finally feel more comfortable with body position but still think I need to move the rear sets up one peg to get my body and leg over being short.

Your upper body is perfect and that's really what's most important. The most important thing with the lower half is to make sure that outside knee is locked in tight to the tank so you can stay loose on the bars. If your junk is really close to the tank, slide back a bit to where you could fit a can of soda between the tank and your junk. Whatever positioning of the pegs helps with that. (also, set that part of your lower body before you even start braking!)

That's all minor though.. Look forward to riding with you next year!

I like the carpet in the trailer. For AC in mine I got a Whynter unit at Lowes with intake and exhaust hoses. Think its 12,000btu. Rated at 1250w and my honda 2000w inverter barely runs it. It kept my 6x12 around 80 during the scorching 100+ degree days at VIR last July. During transport I flip it around and secure it and cover the holes.ImageImage

Glad to see those are available.. Ones with a single hose use (the conditioned, cool) air inside the trailer to go across the condensor, and exhaust that air out the hose, but then that air has to be replenished from somewhere, so it pulls hot air into the trailer, making the unit work even harder, and if you don't have a good bit of insulation, people have told me they can't get the trailer below 80 on a hot day. I'd imagine the 2 hose unit is MUCH better in that regard.

Even with the intake hose it still creates a vacuum in the trailer and have to tape over the cheap air vents in the trailer but I'm sure it would be a lot worse than without. Having a white trailer helps too. I found that most of the heat was coming from the roof and not the walls.
