Post Group Buy on universal quick shifter for ALL bikes..
This was started on the WERA forum for vintage bikes, and the unit they're going with will work on anything.. even something without a shift rod (like my Aprilia Tuono). Pricing is supposed to be sub-$300, and it's fully adjustable.

Relevant info starts here: http://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads ... st-4842525 Get in there quickly, I think he's looking to wrap this up this week...

Yes, I'm thinking about it for my street/coach bike, because they're FUN!

Hmmm, interesting. I couldn't get the tabs for more info to open on my iPad for some reason so I'll have to try on the computer later. Any feedback on them that you've heard? I've never seen this brand before. I can tell you one thing just by seeing the pics of the harness going to the coils that it won't be plug and play on all bikes unless they offer different harnesses. That looked a lot like the harness I got for my Dynojet for the track RC51. It was anything but plug and play. That took a lot of ingenuity to make it work. I have been thinking of a quickshifter for the CBR because like you said, they're fun!

I've heard good things about the company, but yeah, this setup is a definite universal type of kit. I'd bet though that if the company made a harness kit for whatever bike, that you could get a good deal on it.

I love that it's not something that REQUIRES a shift rod - my tuono doesn't have one!

man, I just saw this. I need one for my hypermotard. What is the status of the group buy? I am not ordinarily so lazy to ask for a report rather than read the thing myself. But, I kinda got a lot going on right now.

Looks like it's not a group buy in the normal sense anymore (where you have to send your money until a certain number are submitted, blah blah), but just call Rider's Discount, ask for TJ. It probably won't hurt to mention that group buy thread, and tell him you want the Healtech QSE. So fortunately, we haven't missed out. I actually forgot about this!

ok, I will put that on the list of stuff to do. It used to be that I could blow through a list of stuff to do and still have time for a beer. Now, the list just builds as I wait for an opportunity.
