They'll be lucky if they have dry weather this weekend.

Looks like you might luck out. The big ass storm down south looks to be slowing up a bit. Have fun!

Great weekend. 4 of us went (plus an assortment of wives), 2 got bumps to N2 intermediate (should have been 3, but that's another story) and I got a bump to their advanced group. They really make you work for it. My first black sticker! Timing it from a gopro I was consistently at 1:58-59's Sunday in traffic. I think with a clearer track, (if I managed to hold my line) i'm capable of a '57.

I got 10 sessions out of a new SC1 rear, and the last session(s) the tire be talkin' to me, wear dot gone. Does that seem about right? The guy next to me at the tire stand said he only gets one day out of rear slick. Alex said to run 28psi to help protect the rear. I know it's grippy new asphalt eating up tires.

You can say it cubes I was the lone ranger of the group that didnt get a bump. Probably would have gotten it to if not for the engine trouble. Had an awesome time though. Too bad it took until the afternoon of the 2nd day to really get any decent speeds though with all the slower guys in novice. Heres some footage of me on my zx10 and our other friend on his R1 following behind the camera man. Was trying to get an idea of my body positioning which has gotten a lot better since i started. Some may recongnize the old suit from another rider on the forum. Constructive criticism is appreciated except from cubes..lol.

Pitt is nasty on rear tires. Trust Alex's tire & pressure recommendation - there's lots of data supporting that.. But don't take that pressure to other tracks.

Your BP does continue to improve for sure! The suit makes you faster. :) Work on dropping that inside elbow more, which will help get your head down. But more importantly, your lines are clean... Much better than the R1.

Thanks eskimo. Things started clicking for me at the end of the 1st day at pitt and finally felt comfortable getting my head down and over.
